So I have a lot of friends who don’t watch anything korean, they claim to hate Korean dramas, movies and songs but when I made them watch these movies they couldn’t get enough. So I can say that these movies are tested and trusted.

Therefore, here are 5 korean movies to get you addicted. You will probably find out that these movies have nothing to do with romance and it is advisable that you should be over 18 to watch some of these movies.

If you have never watched Korean movies before and you have only watched dramas, I want you to know tha this is a different world as they are more explicit and not for cable television.

I won’t be doing a review but if you want me to do a full review for each of them let me know

MONEY

Synopsis

A young man who dreams of becoming rich. He becomes a stockbroker but soon he finds himself caught up in a stock market scam.

Synopsis

A man, his estranged daughter and other passengers become trapped on a train during a zombie outbreak in South Korea

This movie was just so well made. definitely recommend this.

THE LONG WAY HOME

Synopsis

Middle age Nam Bok is assigned a mission to deliver classified military document that may decide the fate of the war. He loses it during an attack which is when he meets a teenage North Korean soldier named Yeong gwang who happens to acquire the secret document on his way to the North.

This is just so hilarious.

NORTHERN LIMIT LINE

Synopsis

This movie follows the incident known as the second battle of Yeonpyeong which happened in 2002 in Korea.

I have never cried so much about a movie and this was just so emotional.
