Weekend movies

Hello and welcome!!

.

I can honestly say that I didn’t read anything this past weekend except for my school books.

If you have been following my blog for a while then you know how much I love watching movies and dramas.

So I decided on this post, which would allow me to review the movies I watch during the weekend.

This past weekend I was able to watch 2 movies. I absolutely loved them both and I would recommend them..

TWO WEEKS NOTICE

Review

This is a 2002 romantic comedy starring Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant. She plays a dedicated enviromental lawyer who decided to work for a billionaire named George Wade as part of a deal to save the community center.

George grows to depend on her for everything and I mean everything. Soon Lucy gets tired of Grant’s bullshit and she can’t take it anymore so she decides to quit, giving him her two weeks notice.

As time draws near for her to leave the firm she begins to have second thoughts and Grant realizes that she means more to him that he realized.

This is an absolutely fantastic movie to watch. I would definitely recommend it. This movie is available on Netflix so you can check it out.

Rating

I gave this 8.4 out of 10 stars.

REAL

Review

This is a 2017 neo-noir movie set in a dark fictional city where Jang Tae Yong which is played by Kim Soo Hyun is a successful solver as well as the owner of a large casino.

Due to his split personality, he decides to seek help from a Doctor in other to help him get rid his other personality.

The doctor comes up with a plan to help him but it doesnt work out as planned. The consequences of their elaborate plan was very severe. Jang as to face his fake self and he begins to doubt if he is really real. With this happening, there are so many people trying to kill him.

This movie was a lot, I had to watch it two times to finally understand the scope of the whole drama.

The duality Kim Soo Hyun displayed in this drama was amazing and not to talk of all the cameo apearances.

I didn’t really like the cinematography especially in the fight scence (honestly it was ridiculous).

Beware that there is nudity and very intense sex scenes which I am slowly coming to accept in darker Korean films. It wasn’t really that bad in my opinion.

Sulli really did a great job in this movie (makes me sad that I would never see her in something else in the future, may she rest in peace).

Rating

I gave this a 6.2 out of 10 stars.
