Hello and welcome!!!
.
I saw this on mistybookspace page and I also decided to join the tag trend. Don’t forget to check her page.
Yes, I have read 216 books already, I know, crazy, I don’t even know how that happened, I have just been reading books like crazy, so many amazing new releases and new authors that I am just been introduced to, new series and the likes. So I will try to answer all the questions in this tag.
How did I manage to read so many books?
Answer: Audiobooks
Best book you’ve read so far in 2019?
I really can’t pick one with this one. I have read a lot of amazing books this year but a few stand out in my mind
- Red Scrolls of Magic by Cassandra Clare and Wesley Chu
- There’s Something about Sweetie by Sandhya Menon
- Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
(Review for all these books are on My Blog)
Best sequel of 2019 so far?
I really haven’t read a lot of sequels this year but I enjoyed this one more than Cruel Prince
- Wicked king by Holly Black
New release you haven’t read yet, but want to?
I really enjoyed reading intercepted and I can’t wait to read the sequel
- Fumbled by Alexa Martin
Most anticipated release of the second half of 2019?
- The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black
Expected publication date is 19 November 2019
Biggest Disappointment?
- Strange the Dreamer by Laina Taylor
Everyone seems to love this book but I couldn’t even get past the first 6 chapters. I couldn’t develop any attachment to the characters so I DNF the book
Biggest Surprise?
- How to marry a Millionaire Vampire (Love at stake #1) by Kerrelyn Sparks
I don’t read vampire books a lot but I really enjoyed the writing, the romance, the characters, even the vampire system (which made me read 15 books in the series) I am obsessed with the series.
Favourite new author (Debut or New to You)
- Ella Frank & Brooke Blaine
They are actually authors whose books I read for the first time and I really loved it. They wrote the Fallen Angel series and it’s just so good.
Newest Fictional crush?
None but if I really have to choose Seiji from the Comic Fence by C.S Pacat
Newest Favourite character ?
- Evelyn Hugo (Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reed)
I don’t know how to explain why I love her but she to me is the epitome of a woman who goes after her dreams even with a lot of obstacles on her path. (You just need to read this book)
Book that made you cry ?
I really can’t think of one, Maybe Evelyn Hugo, I didn’t cry, I was just sad (books don’t make me cry)
Book that made you happy?
- Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston
This was funny and cute while at the same time carrying a message. It is just sweetness overload
Favourite book to movie adaptation you’ve seen this year?
- The Hate U Give
I read the book last year and I really enjoyed it, watching it on a big screen just brought all the emotions to life
Favourite review you’ve written this year?
Recently I made a post on how to read the Shadowhunters Chronicles where I gave an extensive review on all the books in the Shadowhunter Chronicles and the best way to read them without being spoiled.
I guess it’s my best review yet
Most beautiful book you bought or received so far this year?
- The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren
I got to thank Grace for sending this book to me since Amazon kept messing up. Thank you Grace, I love you.
Books you need to read by the end of the year?
- The Toll by Neal Schusterman
I am bubbling with excitement for this one, expected publication date is 5 November, 2019 and I just cant wait. It’s the 3rd book in the Arc of Sythe series.

Loved the post! Such a quick read yet so much information. I’m amazed that you’ve already read more than 200 books this year. Kudos for that!
Suranjita
Thank you Suranjita
So glad you decided to do this tag. Wow over 200 books already read this year that’s amazing. I enjoyed reading your answers. I can’t wait to read The Wicked King.
The wicked king in my humble opinion is better than the cruel prince, I know you will enjoy it
I enjoyed The Cruel Prince. Not as much as a lot of people did but I thought it was a good start. I have a feeling I will end up loving The Wicked King more as well.
Fun post! There are so many books coming out, I had to up my Goodreads book target, but 216 already is impressive. I’m currently working on Red, White and Royal Blue and love seeing all the praise it is getting!
Thank you and Red, white and royal blue is maybe I best book so far in 2019. I hope you enjoy it
I’m only 70 pages in, but it is a really fun read so far!
Congratulations on meeting and exceeding your goal already! WOW! I must read Holly Black! I think I’m the only one left who hasn’t read her!!
Holly black is great
