JUNE TBR

Hello and welcome!!

I would say that I did a great job last month sticking to my TBR and I am hoping that this newly improved me, keep up the good work this month. I do have a few books that I am carrying over from the past month. I was able to remove a few from my list by  TRY A CHAPTER #1 which I have decided to do twice a month, to remove books that I might not enjoy off my TBR. It is also pride month and as much as I want t0 bombard my TBR with representative books, I have not found one that I really interested in reading.

Without further ado, let’s get into the books I plan on reading this month

My Dark Vanessa by Kate Elizabeth Russell: I am 75% into this book and I love it so much. So I will be continuing and completing it this month, probably in the first week

Clap When You Land by Elizabeth Acevedo: I didn’t like the previous book With Fire on High by Acevedo that I read and most of my dislike stems from the writing style and the one-dimensional story. But I have heard great things about this book from my friends and bloggers that I seem to have similar taste with, so I am giving her writing another chance. All I know about this book is that it about two girls who don’t know about each other until their father’s death and this sort of brings them together. I am very excited about this.

Venators: Promises Forged by Devri Walls: I read the first book in this series in March and although I had a few issues with it, I did enjoy it. I am joining the blog tour for the second book and I am excited to see how Rune is going to save everyone.

A Heart So Fierce And Broken by Brigid Kemmerer: I am going to have to read a few chapters of the first book just to get back into the world. I was quite intrigued by Grey having some sort of insane past or something of that sort. I am curious as to how the story will progress.

Dirty Headlines by L.J Shen: On my quest to read all of Shen’s books. I have decided to read this book for this month.

Thanks for reading.
