Books I Read Recently #19

Welcome to another collective book review!

Just know that this post is basically me reviewing all the thirst books that I have read in the past few weeks. I found T.L. Swan via Netgalley and I have been bingeing her books on Kindle *chef kiss* fabulous. If you have not seen my post where I review books I read during the Mafia Week, click here I READ MAFIA ROMANCE FOR A WEEK

Dr. Stanton by T.L. Swan

Review

This was so good. I honestly don’t know where to start with this book.
I usually don’t read romance books with this much pages because I usually know what is going to happen with the main characters, they fall in love and they end up together, that is something that I know about romance books generally so I don’t expect them to be so long. However, with this book, I enjoyed every minute and I stormed through this book in a day and I don’t regret it. I would probably be reading a lot of T.L. Swan books soon, her writing style is just very engaging and it just pulls you into the book and you seem to be their neighbors or friends.

We follow Ashley who while trying to escape from a creep who didn’t understand personal space, pretending to be married to a guy who was passing by and lucky for her, he turned out to be a hot guy who took his role as her husband seriously. He saves her from Mr. creep but he ends up creeping all over her and they have the most extreme sex that seems to get to his brain and he decides that he wants to know more about her.
She is a med student and she has to go back to school, but they both don’t know anything about each other, no name nothing. He was able to get her phone number but for some reason, he lost his phone. Soon the amazing time they share was to be chucked as ‘what happens in vegas stays in vegas’ situation but, Cameron wasn’t having that because it seems that she is the one for him. Since they were supposed to meet, he went but he couldn’t find her and she gave up because he didn’t call.
Five years later, she starts her medical rotation and who does she meet as her attending, DR. CAMERON FUCKING STANTON.
I honestly don’t want to say much about this book because some things are better when its a surprise. Loved this book.

Dr. Stanton’s The Epilogue by T.L. Swan

Review

Honestly, I read this book because I was so in love with their relationship and I was just greedy for more of them. Here we follow how he made plans for his proposal and we basically see how they live their very busy lives together, She gets pregnant again and he almost missed the birth because he was in surgery. I have decided not to talk about some really important details from the first book because I just feel that it would spoil it too much.

Your Dad Will Do by Katee Robert

Review

Before I say much, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE SMUTTIEST SHIT, then look no further because as a self-proclaimed smut writer, this is the shit.
Here we follow Lily who has just broken off her engagement with her long time friend turned fiance, Max, when she caught him having sex with his secretary. So who does she decides to help her get her revenge, SHANE, who is Max’s father.
Shane has the hots for Lily but she was his son’s fiancee and her masturbating for him to watch last summer has him hungry for her, but he doesn’t expect her to be on his doorstep asking him to let her call him daddy and FUck yeah he wants her.
Trust me, I don’t think I am allowed to talk about what went down in this book in terms of sex because I feel I will be kicked off this site.
It is short and quick to read.

The Stopover by T.L.Swan

Review

Like I said before, I think T.L. Swan books too long but they honestly don’t feel long. The story goes by so quickly and the characters develop so smoothly that you almost forget that you are reading a book with so many pages.

We follow Emily Foster who was just upgraded to first class on her flight to New York where she is going for an interview and she is still pissed from her now ex-boyfriend making out with his new girlfriend to piss her off. This is when she sits beside a hot blue-eyed guy who would not stop flirting with her. Due to a storm, they have a layover and they end up having a steamy night together. He leaves with her name or phone number and she immediately thinks him a douche.
Anyways 12 months later she begins her new job in New York, leaving behind her douche of a boyfriend who didn’t want to move with her even when he was not doing anything worthwhile.

Little does she know that her new company, Miles Media which is headed by Jameson Miles, is actually the same guy that she had hot sex with and could not stop thinking about.
I will not say more than this but you need to read this book and I will just be bingeing much of Swan books.

Mr. Masters by T.L. Swan

Review

Pardon me, BUT FUCK THIS BOOK WAS HOT!!
I have been in a T.L. Swan reading rush in the past week and so far I have not been disappointed. Each book is so well thought out, each character well developed and interesting. Loved it.

We follow Brielle who has just arrived in the UK with her friend from Australia as an Au Pair, she thinks she is coming to work for a widowed woman only to find out at the airport that she is to work of a very hot, extremely hot (do I need to say how hot?) older man. She is introduced to his two friends, one is Willow a teenager, and Sammy who is younger. Sammy takes to her quickly but Willow doesn’t. Anyways at night, she goes into the kitchen to get some water when she sees Mr. Masters masturbating to her picture. She begins to think that maybe he has the hots for her (which he most definitely does).
She gets involved in the lives of the children and even Willow begins to come out of her shell and depend on her. Her relationship with Julian was just precious, find out the baggage that he carries as a Judge and also a widower.
I am trying not to spoil the books, there are so many things that I enjoyed about this book, the way it talked about sexuality, consent, bullying, suicide, and more.
Recommend it
