Hello and welcome to my stop on this blog tour!
Thanks to #Pridebooktours for making this book available to me! This is a lesbian love story that we were dying to read but the pun is that they actually had to die to live the love that could stand the test of time and death.
I really enjoyed this book. After reading this book, I went down to Brighton where this book was set in. I visited a b=majority of the places mentioned in this book and it was so much fun. If you are looking for a place to go in the UK this summer then let this book take you on a tour.

THE LESBIAN LOVE STORY YOU’VE BEEN DYING TO READ.
Ash Persaud is about to become a reaper in the afterlife, but she is determined to see her first love Poppy Morgan again, the only thing that separates them is death.
Car headlights.
The last thing Ash hears is the snap of breaking glass as the windscreen hits her and breaks into a million pieces like stars.
But she made it, she’s still here. Or is she?
This New Year’s Eve, Ash is gets an RSVP from the afterlife she can’t decline: to join a clan of fierce girl reapers who take the souls of the city’s dead to await their fate.
But Ash can’t forget her first love, Poppy, and she will do anything to see her again… even if it means they only get a few more days together. Dead or alive…
NOT EVEN DEATH CAN TEAR THEM APART

Review
Ash is dead but refuses to accept it even when she see her body laying in the middle of a car crash. When she is indoctrinated into what I call the Grimm Reaper society. Because she is the last to die right before the new year, she is fated to be a reaper. She regrets not spending as much time with her girlfriend of a few weeks. So much time she spent not identifying as herself, not enjoying the little things of life. With her death everything seem so big, including her regret of a life not well lived.
Just has she is set to accept her fate, she meets Poppy, her girlfriend. Poppy does not recognize her (which is a good thing) until they cross parts again at Ash’s grave site. This time Poppy recognizes her, which is unfortunate because nothing good has ever come off a Grimm reaper being noticed or really seem by the living that they knew when they were alive.
The question now is how long do they really have. How long will their love last? Where will they go after this? can their love strive in the afterlife? Is the afterlife what you want or what you hope it would be? This book explores death, identity and the brevity of life and circumstances. I really loved it.
This was very interesting to read and I hope you pick it up.
